スコット・マーフィー

1979 年生まれ 。 アメリカ ・ シカゴ 出身 のミュー ジシャン 。

アメリカのパンクバンド ALLiSTER で はボーカル ・ ベースを 担当。2001 年 の 日本 ツア ーで 初来日。日本語 を 独学 で 学 びはじめ 、2008 年 に ユニバーサル・ミュージック・ジャパンより、日本 ソロデビュー 。 ソロ 名義 のアルバム 売 り 上 げは 累計 50 万枚。

また WEEZER のボーカル 、 リバース ・ クオモとスコット ＆ リバースとして 日 本語 でアルバムを 2 枚 リリースしている 。

現在 は 細美武士 （the HIATUS/ELLEGARDEN） とのロック バンド MONOEYES でベース ・ ボーカルを 担当。

Cicerone (ビールのソムリエ)の資格を持っており、2020年の春にクラフト・ビールの本を出版する予定。

Scott Murphy (born February 11, 1979) is an American musician and singer-songwriter.

He began his career in 1997 as bassist, vocalist, and songwriter in the Chicago based pop-punk band ALLiSTER. 

In 2008, he made his major label debut as a Solo artist on Universal Music, releasing several albums which have gone on to sell more than a half million records to date.

He also started a collaboration project with WEEZER frontman and vocalist Rivers Cuomo, releasing 2 albums under the name Scott & Rivers.

In 2015, he moved to Japan and is currently the bassist/ vocalist for Japanese rock band MONOEYES , sharing vocal duties with Takeshi Hosomi (The Hiatus, Ellegarden).

Being a craft beer fan and home brewer, he is certified through the Cicerone program (the beer world's equivalent of wine sommeliers), and has written & will publish a book on Craft Beer in the spring of 2020.
